As Ken Snider's sister and Delores' sister-in-law I remember meeting Alkia only once at her granddaughter Melanie's wedding. We had such a good time sitting and chatting about all the people (many of whom she knew and I didn't) and when I read about her amazing life in this tribute online, I think her star will be a force to reckon with! My sympathy to her wonderful family.
