Betty Pemberton

Betty Pemberton, 87, of Coal Grove, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at her residence. Betty was born Nov. 18, 1929 in Rock Camp, OH, a daughter of the late Robert Sr., and Ethel Fields Huninghake. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Arnold Pemberton, a daughter Judy Pemberton, brothers Robert “Buddy” Huninghake, Jr., Bill Huninghake, a sister Kathleen Bryant, a granddaughter Kimberly Pemberton and a brother-in-law Calvin Waller. Betty was a member of the Arabia Missionary Baptist Church and was a graduate of Dawson Bryant High School. Most of all she was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family. Survivors include her daughters Pam (Thomas) Bowling of Ironton, OH, Gloria Pemberton of Ironton, OH, sisters Joyce (James) Voss of South Point, OH, Rosemary Waller of Ironton, OH, seven grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. Graveside services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Woodland Cemetery in Ironton, OH. Chaplain Randy Tate will officiate. No visitation is planned.
