Charles Clifford Pack, 73, of Westwood, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at his residence.
He was born January 29, 1944, in Boyd County, Kentucky, a son of the late Clifford and Nora Chandler Pack.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Brenda Sue Pack; a brother, Carl Richard Pack; and sisters, Betty Pack and JoAnn Hillard.
Charles was a member of Kenwood Baptist Church. He was a 1962 graduate of Fairview High School and served honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He retired after 32 years of service from Verizon and following retirement he worked for Riverbend Golf Course.
Charles coached Raceland-Worthington Little League for over 20 years and served as basketball coach for Rose Hill Christian School.
Most important to him was spending time with his family. He was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. He served as a Deacon and Sunday School Outreach Director.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Kay Pack of Westwood; sons, Jim Pack (Erin) of Auburn, Ala., and Charles Edward Pack (Misty) of Raceland; sisters, Jane Pack of Westwood, Lee Fannin of Winter Park, Fla., and Mary Wilburn of Stuart, Fla.; six grandchildren, Logan, Chase, Mary Grace, Alex, Nolan & Clayton; and a host of loving extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Rose Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Dallas Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel.
