Mary Helen Martin

Mary Helen Feyler Martin, daughter of Dr. Howard Clayton Feyler and Katherine Marie Halderman Feyler was born in Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio, December 13, 1921. She found peace with her Lord on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.
She married Dr. John Geer Martin 26 December 1945. In 1950 the family moved to Ashland, Kentucky and established Martin Veterinary Clinic. In 1962 they developed Jomar Farm. She was an avid supporter of circus performers opening her home and heart to many.
He was preceded in death by her husband in 1999. She is survived by her daughter Teresa Lynn Martin Klaiber and devoted son-in-law, James David Klaiber; three grandsons, John Ian Klaiber (Marina), David Martin Klaiber and Matthew Lee Klaiber; and four great grandchildren: Juniper Glass-Klaiber, Oscar Dyachuk Klaiber, Parker Andrews Klaiber and Jett James Klaiber.
The family will hold a private day of memories and celebration of her life. Burial will be next to her husband in Ashland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 1811 Carter Avenue, Ashland, Kentucky or Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Avenue, Ashland, Kentucky 41101.
