Olive Ruth Fearing

Olive Ruth Wheeler Fearing, 91, of Louisville, Kentucky died peacefully in her sleep at her home on September 26, 2017.   

A private family service will be at the Ashland Cemetery in Ashland, Kentucky on Saturday, September 30, 2017. 

Olive Ruth was born in Huntington, West Virginia to Harrison H. Wheeler and Rilda Wright Wheeler on December 12, 1925.   Olive Ruth grew up in Red Bush, Kentucky and graduated from Sullins Academy in 1942 and Center College in 1946.   She met Tom Fearing in Ashland and they married on December 31, 1949 and spent 38 wonderful years together raising their 3 children Greg, Dean and Amy. 

Olive Ruth is preceded in death by her husband Tom Fearing.  She is survived by her sister Mary Frances Elmore of Columbia, Missouri.  Her children Greg Fearing (Margaret) of Louisville,  Kentucky, Dean Fearing of Dallas, Texas, and Amy Reisner (Rick) of Wichita, Kansas; and four very special grandchildren: Lydia Fearing, Megan Tongue, Jaxson Fearing, and Campbell Fearing.
