Paula Kay Hampton Brooks

Paula Kay Hampton Brooks, 47, of Flatwoods, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017, in King’s Daughters Medical Center.
She was born March 20, 1970 in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Allen Ray and Sue Ellen Watkins Hampton.
Paula was of the Pentecostal faith. She was an avid UK Fan who enjoyed crafts and attending the dirt track races.
Survivors include her twin brother, J.R. Hampton and wife, Jaclyn of Worthington; sisters, Rosemary Gehringer and Husband, Lou and Pamela Johnson and husband, Brian of Ashland; her companion of 17 years, Steve Cremeans of Flatwoods; nieces, Michelle (Joey) Childers, Tiffany (Jeremy) Gardner, Sheila (Jonathan) Edwards and Maddison Hampton; great nieces, Vanessa Johnson, Olivia Wilkerson and Melissa Sammons; great nephews, Delontae’ Taylor and Joseph Allen Gardner
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel with J.R. Hampton and Ray Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
