Zackariah Dexter Davis, 32, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Ashland, passed away September 1, 2017, along with his best friend, Princess.
He was born June 17, 1985, in Decatur, Georgia, a son of Angelita Hill of Ashland and the late Ronald Fish Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Louise P. Hill.
Zackariah was a member of St. James AME Church in Ashland. He was a 2003 graduate of Paul Blazer High School where he played basketball, baseball and football. He also played football at Kentucky State University for four years.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Ronald Lee Fish Jr. of Ashland; sister Na'Tosha Fairfax of Los Angeles, CA; grandfather, Charles K. Hill Sr., of Huntington, WV; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017, at St. James AME Church with Pastor Denzella Letcher and Pastor Tony Gooch officiating.
Visitation will be 12-1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
