Alice Morgan Watts

Alice Louise Watts, 77, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday evening, April 18, 2017, at the Community Hospice Care Center.
She was born November 4, 1939, in Russell, KY, a daughter of the late Kenny P. Pruitt and Bertha Faye Smith Pruitt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Cecil H. Morgan in 1974 and Earl P. Watts in 1993; son, Cecil Scott Morgan in 2015; brother, Paul Kenny Pruitt and a sister Virginia Carol Jackson.
Alice was a member of Moore Street Tabernacle, and Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. 350. She worked at Regional Center in Madisonville, Kings Daughters Medical Center and Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital before retiring.
Survivors include two daughters Teddi Lynn Bragg (John Patrick) of Catlettsburg, and Mechele Denice Bolt (Ronald) of Ashland; brother, Robert M. Pruitt (Alwina) of Ashland; sister, Marietta Chronister of Madisonville; grandsons, Brett Matthew Parsons, Steven Tyler Bragg and Kevin Patrick Bragg; two great grandsons, Tyler Bragg and Jackson Alexander Parsons; and a dear friend Pat Gullett.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel with Chaplain Jimm Smedley officiating. Burial will follow at Ashland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with an Elks service at 5:30 p.m.
