Arnold Sparks

Arnold R. Sparks, 81, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at his residence.
He was born September 13, 1938 in Greenup County, Kentucky; a son of the late Arthur and Edith Burgess Sparks. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Sparks.
Arnold was a 1955 graduate of Russell High School and attended Western University. He was the owner and operator of Reliance Security and served honorably in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Beverly Roberts Sparks of Ashland; son, Daren Sparks of Ashland; sisters, Ella Mae Hoy and Donna Sue Adkins of Russell, and Sharon (Larry) Crabtree of Mt. Vernon, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2019, at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with Chaplain Jimm Smedley officiating.
