Ballard Theodore Faulkner

Ballard Theodore “Ted” Faulkner, Jr., 66, of Ashland passed away on January 26, 2020 at King’s Daughters Medical Center. Ted was born on July 16, 1953 in Ashland, KY to the late Ballard and Lucille Wright Faulkner.
He was a graduate of Paul Blazer High School and received a bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Kentucky. He was formerly a pipefitter and a member of the Local 248 Pipefitters Union. Ted was a member of Ashland 350 Elks BPOE and served as a food committee co-ordinator and was an “Elk of the Year” recipient. He was also a member of Old Orchard Church of Christ.
Ted is survived by a sister Deborah (David) Compton of Poca, West VA and a brother Warren (Becky) Faulkner of South Point, OH, a niece, Caryn Compton of Washington, DC and a close cousin, Bill Faulkner of Cynthiana, KY along with a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel at 1:00 PM and will be officiated by Pastor Jerry Greenslate. Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 until service time at 1:00 PM.
