Barbara Ann Gibbs

Barbara Ann Blevins Gibbs, 77, of Russell, KY passed away on February 17, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Baltimore, MD on November 28, 1942 to the late Dudley and Lucille Stevens Blevins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Elwood Gibbs in 2007 and a brother Jim Blevins.
She was a business woman and owned the Hillbilly Flea Market with her late husband Elwood.
Barbara is survived by her sons Scott (Rose) Ball of Ashland, KY, Billy (Julie) Ball of Mooresville, NC, and Mark (Jennifer) Ball of Russell, KY; brother Dudley Blevins, Jr. of Ft. Worth, TX; a sister Bessie Bowling of Ashland, KY and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 1:00 PM and will be officiated by Reverend Mark A. Kloha of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 PM.
