Barbara Clare Strosnider

Barbara Clare Martin Strosnider, 84, formerly of Ashland, KY, passed away on September 25, 2019 in Groveport, OH. She was born in Ashland, KY on November 30, 1934 to the late Walter and Hazel Worley Martin.
She was a homemaker and a very active member of First United Methodist Church, First United Methodist Women, Eastern Star in Waverly, OH and a member of the DAR, Poage Chapter in Ashland, KY.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Richard Strosnider, formerly of Ashland, KY; Two daughters Ann Carlyle Strosnider and Lucy Lee Thomson and husband Matthew all of Groveport, OH; a brother Walter Martin and wife Mary of Kitts Hill, OH; a niece Angela Sue Martin Shearer and husband Alan and a nephew John David Martin and his son Brek.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel and will be officiated by Reverend Donald Young. Burial will follow in Ashland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM.
