Benjamin David Flannery

Benjamin David “Ben” Flannery, 27, of Georgetown, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born April 24, 1992 in Ashland, Kentucky.
Ben loved to go fishing, camping and loved all things outdoors. He was very quick witted and had a very kind and giving heart that never met a stranger. He was the bravest, most courageous, fearless young man and will forever be missed.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Matt David and Robin Federer Flannery of Georgetown; brother, Matthew William Flannery and wife, Brianna Dodge Flannery of Lexington; maternal grandparents, Billy Joe and Janie Federer of Ashland; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Matt Wylie and Betty Jo Flannery.
Funeral services will be held at Noon Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel with Rev. Morgan Gilkey officiating. Burial will follow in Flannery Family Cemetery in Carter County, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until Noon Tuesday, at the funeral home.
