Betty Lou Brown

Betty Lou Brown, 85, of Ashland, passed away, at U.K. Medical Center on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

She was born February 21, 1936, in Wilson, North Carolina to the late Lonny and Mattie Turner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Terry; granddaughter, Amber Terry; 1 brother and 3 sisters.

Betty was a member of South Ashland United Methodist Church and was a loving and devoted homemaker.

Survivors include her loving husband, Edgar Marion Brown; son, Michael (Doris) Terry; a brother, Robert (Bernice) Turner; step daughters, Sherry (Avery) Keelin, April (Anthony) Stati and Marina Brown; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

The funeral will be begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at STEEN FUNERAL HOME 13TH STREET CHAPEL with Rev. Keith Katterheinrich officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
