Betty Jane Ramey

Betty Jane Ramey, 88, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2019 in Harbor Healthcare of Ironton.

She was born August 11, 1931 in Ashland, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Holmes Blevins and her stepfather, Willie Blevins. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Priscilla Ann Ramey; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Betty was a member of Portsmouth Church of God and was a loving and devoted homemaker.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Jackie Sue Ramey Yates and Edna Marie Ramey Short (Gary) of Ashland; 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

There will be a private service held at the convenience of the family.
