Bruce Wade Humphrey, 57, of Racine, Ohio, died peacefully Saturday, April 16, 2022, at his residence.
He was born October 3, 1964, in Prince Georges County, Maryland, a son of Flora Shiffra Humphrey of Oak Hill, OH, and the late Albert H. Humphrey.
Bruce served honorably in the United States Army. He worked as an Electronic Technician with Mountaineer Power Plant in New Haven, West Virginia. Bruce was a master griller. He enjoyed Battlebots, gaming and being surrounded by his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 33 years, Pamela McNerlin Humphrey of Racine, OH; two daughters, Kelly Humphrey (Kayla) of Columbus, OH, and Kristen Wolfe (Austin) of Athens, OH; sister, Rebecca Howard of Ashland, KY; two brothers, John Douglas Humphrey (Teresa) of Aiken, SC, and Brian Scott Humphrey (Marilyn) of Raleigh, NC; and a granddaughter, Aspyn Nova Wolfe of Athens, OH.
Military graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North East with military honors provided by the United States Army and American Legion Kenova Post 93.
The procession will leave STEEN FUNERAL HOME CENTRAL AVENUE CHAPEL at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
