Celestia Belitz

Celestia Gale Belitz, 69, of Flatwoods, passed away Wednesday evening, March 15, 2023 at her residence. Celestia was born February 10, 1954 in Ironton, OH. She is the daughter of the late Charles Jennings Baker and Nancy Ann Pelfry Baker. In addition to her parents, Celestia was preceded in death by her husband Larry Belitz.
Celestia attended the First Assembly of God in Raceland and was a member of the Grace Assembly of God in Clearfield. She served the community with Helping Hands and Northeast KY Community Action Agency to help assist low-income families throughout the tri state area. She worked for many years as a dispatcher for the City of Flatwoods Police Department.
Survivors include her son Ryan Baker and wife Amy of Nashville, TN, her daughter Alisha Ann Estep of Flatwoods, a brother Charles Michael Baker of Stroud, OK, a sister Evelyn Arlene Beaman and husband Dustin Cory Beaman of Stroud, OK, four grandchildren Kennedy Baker, Austin Russell, Caleb Russell, James Estep and a host of extended family, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the STEEN FUNERAL HOME CENTRAL AVENUE CHAPEL by Pastor Mike Blair. Burial will follow services in the Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon Tuesday prior to services at the funeral home.
