Charles Ivan Meddings

Charles Ivan Meddings, 84, of Ashland, KY, passed away on March 31, 2019 at the Hospice Care Center. He was born in Huntington, WV on May 27, 1934 to the late Ivan and Eva Meddings. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Goldie Marie Meddings and children Jim Ferguson, Madolyn Gossett and Wanda Rogers.
Charles was retired from Armco Steel Corporation and served proudly in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy. He was a member of Ironville Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by eight grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren and by a very special friend Sara Jackson.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 4th at 1:00 PM at Springhill Cemetery in Huntington, WV and will be officiated by Reverend Perry Young.
