Charles Robert Thornsbury

Charles Robert Thornsbury, 59, of Grayson, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019, in King’s Daughters Medical Center.

He was born July 25, 1959, in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of the late William Thornsbury and Mildred Fugate Dunnigan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Thornsbury.

Charles retired from Arby’s after many years of service as District Manager. He served honorably in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his partner, Doug Vice of Grayson, brother, Michael David Thornsbury of Loogootee, IN; nephew, Michael David Thornsbury of Teas Valley, W.Va.; nieces, Beverly Varney and Evellyn Thornsbury of Mason County, W.Va., and Misty Thornsbury of Virginia.

A military graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2019, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.
