Christopher Michael Bostick, 31, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at CAMC in Charleston, WV. Christopher was born December 21, 1986 in Ashland, a son of Ida Kouns Bostick of Ashland and the late Gary R. Bostick.
Christopher was a graduate of Boyd County High School and was an active member of the ROTC Program. He received numerous accomplishments through Ashland Community and Technical College including a certificate of Detailer, Computer Assisted Drafter and an Associate in Applied Science Degree. He was a member of the PHI THETA KAPPA Honor Society. He was a professional gunsmith and received his certification from the Foley-Belsaw Institute for Professional Gunsmithing. He was a Drafting Engineer with Lumos Netwoks in Charleston, WV.
Christopher had a love of animals and was a pet adoption pet owner himself. He would give to local shelters and pet adopting facilities on a regular basis.
In addition to his mother Christopher is also survived by his brother Paul Brian Bostick and his wife Wendy of Ashland, his birth mother and best friend Rebecca Moore of Ashland, sister Naomi Whaley and husband Chester of West Union, OH, and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel by Rev. Chester Whaley. Burial will follow in the Kouns Cemetery in Boyd County.
Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
