Clarence Lee Wilkerson, Sr., 34, of Ashland, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 4, 2023.
He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on April 4, 1988 to Sherri Whitehead Wilkerson Ford of Ashland, and the late Wince Wilkerson.
Clarence went to Paul G. Blazer High School where he was a member of the football team. He went on to play semipro football for the Carter County Wildcats. He liked Alabama football, loved life, had a great personality and was a big jokester. He was a loving father and was always available to help anyone in need. He loved music and making music with GMBTSP.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving mother, Sherri Whitehead (and husband, Larry) Ford; son, Clarence Lee Wilkerson, Jr.; daughter, Layla Alexandria Kay Wilkerson; brothers, LaJuan Wilkerson, Abdul Wilkerson, Wince LaMonte Garth; sisters, Angie Ogle and Monica Ogle. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, extended family members and dear friends.
Homegoing services will held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2023, at Christ Temple Church 2601 Lexington Avenue, Ashland, KY. Visitation will be from Noon until 1:00 p.m. Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Steen Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
