Constance Lee “Connie” Crum, 77, of Catlettsburg, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020, at her residence.
She was born January 10, 1943 in Louisa, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James and Jewell Fitzpatrick Frazier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Anthony Patrick.
Connie was a member of Mount Olive Free Will Baptist Church in Rush and had attended Second Free Will Baptist Church in Ashland. She was an avid writer who enjoyed poetry, birds, nature, and flowers. She was a devoted homemaker but more than anything she loved being surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 59 years, William “Bill” Crum of Catlettsburg; sons, James E. (Juanita) Crum of Catlettsburg, Cameron D. (Lesa) Crum of Ashland, and Shannon D. Crum of Catlettsburg; adopted daughter, Ginger Nolen of Ashland; brothers, Gary (Sue) Frazier of Lexington, Leonard (Dottie) Frazier of Catlettsburg; grandchildren, Casey (Megan) Crum, Lacy Stephens, William Evan Crum; step grandsons, Jonathon Stapleton and John Ethan Fultz; and two great granddaughters, Hannah and Emma Crum.
A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Second Free Will Baptist Church with words of comfort provided by Pastor Keith Crum and Pastor James Lindsey.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Second Free Will Baptist Church, 2121 29th Street, Ashland, Kentucky.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
