Donald R. Morgan

Donald R. Morgan, 87, of Ashland, KY, passed away on November 8, 2019 at Kingsbrook Life Care Center. He was born in Ashland, KY on September 4, 1932 to the late John Frank and Anna Lizzia Lewis Morgan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sisters Wilma Morgan and Velma (Charles) Bryan and a brother Vernon Morgan.
Donald was a retired realtor for Ross Realty. He was a member of Grace Nazarene Church where he served as a Sunday school superintendent and went years without missing Sunday School.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Daniels Morgan of Ashland, KY: daughters Cathy Callicoat (Dave) and Brenda Morgan all of Huntington, WV; stepchildren Lisa Erwin Noble (Jim) of Proctorville, OH, Teresa Erwin of Ashland, KY and William Roger Erwin (Tammy) of Barren Springs, VA; Grandchildren Brandon Ryan of Cincinnati, OH, Daniel Harris (Christy) of Ashland, KY, Paul Anderson, Casey Harbor (Travis) of Barboursville, WV, Lisa Woods Selvage (Jason) of Catlettsburg, KY, Michael Porter (Kay) of Raleigh, NC, Jaclyn Porter of Huntington, WV, Jean Erwin of Barren Springs, VA and Michael Erwin (Sarah) of Barren Springs, VA; and a sister Emma Jean Campbell (Clarence) of Flatwoods, KY. He was a loving father and husband, always eager to help in every way he could and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 15, 2019 at Grace Church of the Nazarene at 1:00 PM with Reverend Jim Webster officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be at the church from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
