Doris E. Bellomy

Doris Ellsworth Bellomy, 96, of Ashland passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH. Mr. Bellomy was born February 12, 1924 in Sias, West Virginia, a son of the late John and Ida Adkins Bellomy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bellomy was also preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Walden Bellomy, brothers Dwight Bellomy, Rex Bellomy and his sister Avia Lou Adkins.
Mr. Bellomy retired from Armco Steel Company with 34 years of service as a Production Planner. He served his country honorably during World War II with the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith. He loved to tend to his garden and share his harvest with family and friends.
Survivors include his sons Larry (Linda) Bellomy of Cincinnati, OH, Randy (Jenni) Bellomy of Ironton, OH, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held 1:00pm Friday, March 20, 2020 at the Ashland Cemetery. Pastor Richard Suman will officiate.
Arrangements are under the care of Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel.
