Doris Ann Kinder

Doris Ann Kinder, 84, of Summit, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at her residence.
She was born March 21, 1935, in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Colonel and Mabel Davis Blankenship. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Aubrey V. “Bud” Kinder in 2013; son, Timothy Kinder in 1991; and a sister, Betty Jenkins.
Doris was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and was a loving and devoted homemaker.
Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Greg Kinder and wife, Tammy of Summit, and Chris Kinder and wife, Shannon of Catlettsburg; daughter, Gwen Corwin and husband, Mike of Ashland; granddaughters, Sara Corwin, Haley Corwin, Courtney Kinder and Hadyn Kinder; great grandson, Jaxon Hall; step granddaughter, Amanda Bussey; step grandson, Scott Bussey; and a step great granddaughter, Nyomy Bussey.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel with Rev. Troy Poff officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
