Dorothy Mae Williams

Dorothy Mae (Stewart) Williams, 85, resident at Kings Daughters & Sons Home, passed away on July 11, 2019 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born on August 20, 1933 in Ashland, KY to the late Bansil Stewart, Sr. and Lula Nolte Stewart. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Williams in January of 2019, brothers Harold Stewart and Van Stewart and sisters Virginia Stewart Hensley and Lovena Stewart Everett.

Dorothy was formerly a seamstress at Joseph and Feiss Company in Cleveland, Ohio and was an independent mail carrier in Inverness, Florida. She was of the Protestant faith.

She is survived by nieces Dotty Everett Nelson and husband Don of Winfield, WV, and Robin Stewart of Ashland, KY; a nephew Bill Stewart and wife Karen of Thurman, OH and their sons Tyler and Zachary; Great Nieces and nephews, Rachel (Tom) Scott and their daughter Mackenzie, Andrew (Jessica) Noe and their daughter Virginia, and Jessica (John) Roberts; She is also survived by her special care givers and good friends Joyce Leslie and Jennifer Short.

As per her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. There will be a private family celebration at a later date with “laughter and good times”.
