Elizabeth Keathley

Elizabeth Forsyth Keathley, 99, of Ashland, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at Morning Pointe in Russell. Mrs. Keathley was born September 15, 1921 in Pikeville, KY, a daughter of the late Edward Ray and Miriam Harvey Forsyth. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Levi Keathley, her daughter Betsy Keathley McClain, brothers Thomas H. Forsyth, Virgil Forsyth and her sister Anna Margaret Roberts.
Mrs. Keathley was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Ashland.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son Harry F. Keathley and wife Brenda of Catlettsburg, two granddaughters Valerie Jean Keathley-Helil and husband Khalid of Lexington, Melissa (Tony) Downey, three great grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held 1:00pm Monday, January 18, 2021, at the gravesite, at Rose Hill Burial Park. Minister Michael McAllister will deliver words of comfort.
There will be no visitation.
