Evelyn Jean Wilcox

Evelyn Jean West Wilcox, 87, of Ashland, KY passed away on May 13, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Parkersburg, WV on September 30, 1934 to the late Charles and Virginia West. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Roland Wilcox and a daughter Barbara Clark.

She worked at KDMC for 37 years and was a homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, baking and quilting but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Evelyn is survived by her sons Stephen Wilcox of Catlettsburg, KY, Jeff Wilcox of Ashland, KY and David (Carol) Wilcox of San Antonio, TX, a daughter Sherry (Jerry) Weaver of Cody, WY, grandchildren Jacob and Seth Weaver, Steve and Grant Wilcox, Cory Clark and Katie Kirk, Rob and Ali Wilcox, Kelsey and Nick Wilcox and 14 great grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum with interment to follow and will be officiated by Chaplain Jimm Smedley.
