Geneva M. Litteral

Geneva Mae Litteral, 82, of Ashland, peacefully passed away Tuesday evening, November 21, 2017 at Kings Daughters Medical Center. Geneva was born February 9, 1935 in Summit, KY, a daughter of the late Fred E. and Minnie A. Salyers Akers. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Bob Joe Litteral, son Robert Litteral and her brother Eldid Akers. Geneva attended the Wildwood Church of God and was a loving homemaker to her family. Her laughter, love and delicious cooking will be missed. Survivors include her children Michael Litteral of Ashland, Diana Litteral (Billy Jay) Kinner of Flatwoods, brothers Fred Akers of Ashland, sister Nina Pauline Stewart of Ashland, grandchildren Andrea (Paul) Hensley, Candice (Greg) Caplinger, Lisa (Tim) Nicely, Kayla Litteral, Allison Litteral, Bob Joe Litteral, Sheila Litteral, great grandchildren Logan, Joshlyn, Emily Rose, Annie, Kaylee, Christopher, Caitlyn and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Steen Funeral Home 13th St. Chapel by Ernie Duty. Burial will be in the Hart Cemetery in Boyd County.
