Gregory Scott Quillen

Gregory Scott Quillen, 58, of Ashland, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019, in Ashland, Kentucky.

He was born December 4, 1960, in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of the late Clifford “Bob” and June Holschuh Quillen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Philip Quillen in 1994.

Greg was a 1978 graduate of Boyd County High School. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Ashland Elks Lodge BPOE 350 and was an avid UK Fan.

Survivors include his brother, Gary Lee “Beef” (Jennifer) Quillen of Logan, Utah; nieces and nephews, Philip “Harpo” Quillen, Marilee (JR) Cooper, Malissa (Dennis) Mollett, Candace “Girl” Quillen, Mark “Dude” (Natalie) Quillen, Seth (Kelly) Quillen, Jared (Jessi) Quillen, Alicia (Tejas) Quillen, Rachel (Zack) Garner, and Joseph “Bub” Quillen; 16 great nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

An Elks and Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel. Entombment will follow in Ashland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
