Gregory Scott Robinson, 58, of Ashland, went home with Jesus on Thursday, May 20, 2021 while surrounded by his loving family at Community Hospice.
He was born November 17, 1962, in Ironton, Ohio a son of the late Sherman Elihue Robinson and Thelma Jean Fraley.
He was a 1980 graduate of Boyd County High School. Scott was a member of Second Free Will Baptist Church and loved his church family dearly. He spent many years as a Piping Designer with C & I Engineering, where he met some of his closest friends. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and traveled to many parts of the country with his bike buddies. Scott loved riding horses and being outdoors and often said that was where he felt closest to God.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Lydia Branham Robinson; daughter, Brittany (Seth) Christian; step son, Trevor (Emily) Lindsey; step daughter, Katie (Chris) Dillon; brothers, Steven (Nellie) Fraley and Dean (Teresa) Robinson; sister, Sherrie (Kevin) Meenach; special sister in law, Lisha (Lois) Branham; grandchildren, AJ Christian, Savannah and Ace Dillon, and Harper and Blake Lindsey; many nieces, nephews; and a group of very special friends who were like brothers to him.
A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at STEEN FUNERAL HOME 13TH STREET CHAPEL with words of comfort provided by Pastor James Lindsey. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Scott’s memory may be made to Second Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund or Community Hospice.
