Helen Jacobs Ross

Helen Jacobs Ross, 76, of Russell, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023.

She was born in Ashland, Kentucky on June 2, 1946, to the late Ernest and Frances Nichols Jacobs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, 36 years, Willis Gene Ross in 2021; sister, Wilma Dean Lavender; and a brother, Robert Lee Jacobs.

Helen attended Moore Street Tabernacle and was a loving and devoted homemaker.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Donald (Jennifer) Bentley and Cheryl Ann (Don) Madden; grandchildren, Colton Bentley, Savannah Fraley, Holly Evans, Abbigail Ball, Haley Rigsby, Allyson Garnes and Marlee Bentley; great grandchildren, Delaney, Emme, Jonah, Wyatt, Astraea, and Sarah; brothers, Gene Jacobs, and Eddie (Brenda) Jacobs; and a sister, Ruby Jacobs.

Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at STEEN FUNERAL HOME 13TH STREET CHAPEL with Pastor Rob Lockhart officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North East. 

Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
