Jack Eugene McClelland

Jack Eugene McClelland, 83, of Ashland, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 in Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Jack was the youngest of 12 children, born December 24, 1937, in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Edgar H. and Nancy E. Moyer McClelland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Thomas, Donald, Harold, Clyde, Curtis “Cork”, Nancy “Teenie”, Mildred, Mary, Dorothy, Martha, and Lydia “Tootsie”.

Jack was a retired Foreman with the State Highway Department.

Jack is survived by his loving companion, Shirley Frye of Ashland; sons, Kevin (William Ledford) McClelland of Atlanta, GA, and Jack (Jane) McClelland of Ashland; grandson, Tyler McClelland and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held from Noon until 2:00 p.m. Friday, at STEEN FUNERAL HOME CENTRAL AVENUE CHAPEL.

Private burial will take place in Bayless Cemetery.
