James Curtis Ward

James Curtis Ward, 60, of Lawrenceburg formerly of Ashland, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center with his family by his side.
He was born January 7, 1957 in Ashland Kentucky, a son of the Late Curtis Ward and Eulah Imogene Bayes Selby. He was also preceded in death by his step father, George Selby
James was a 1971 graduate of Paul Blazer High School and a 2002 graduate of Bluegrass Community and Technical College. James was a certified Maintenance Technician.
James enjoyed golfing and fishing and loved to ride horses.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Geraldine Churchill Ward of Lawrenceburg, KY; sons, James Robert Ward and Nathan Lee Ward of Lawrenceburg, KY; daughters, Rebecca Ann Ward of Lexington, KY; Jennifer Williams of Flatwoods, KY; brothers, Ron Riley of Alabama, Gary Selby of Grayson, KY; sisters, Kay Charland of Ashland, KY, Patty Sparks of Grayson, KY, Sharon Dobson of Ashland, KY; two grandchildren Sammy and Connor Williams and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 4:00 P.M Friday April 14, 2017 at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel with words of comfort provided by Gary Selby.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 Thursday April 13, 2017, at the funeral home.
