James Larry Meyers

James Larry Meyers, 72, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017, at his residence.
He was born January 21, 1945, in Ironton, Ohio, a son of the late James Calius and Goldie Marie Ackerman Meyers.
James worked at Kentucky Electric Steel for 52 years as a Rolling Mill Supervisor.
He enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley Davidson, playing darts and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Tereasa Rogers Meyers, of Ashland; son, Larry Joe (Ann) Meyers of Orlando, FL; twin daughters, Tina Marie (Danny Ray) Arthur of Ironton, OH, and Gina Renee (Ronald Dean) Ratliff of Ironton; step son, Steven Lee (Leslie) Caudill of Ashland; step daughters, Mindy Cassady (Harold Smith) of Ashland, and Shawna Lynn (John) Estep of South Point, OH; brother, William Meyers of Florida; sister, Shelba Barnett of Ashland; 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel with Pastor Leroy Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Ironton.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
