Tribute

Jamie Nichole Hardy (Adamson) 39, is now with our Lord and Savior, and is at peace. May God bless her soul. She passed away at Cabell-Huntington Hospital on August 18, 2020. She was born in Ashland, KY on October 17, 1980, the daughter of Gary Hardy of Albuquerque, NM, and Terry Christian and husband Tim of Louisa, KY. She was preceded in death by grandmothers Rose Ann Shobe and Frances Lorena Christian, Uncle Gerald Tom Hardy, Auntie Sandra Ann Davis and an older brother Gary David Hardy, Jr.

She was a certified nursing assistant and was a member of Cannonsburg Baptist Church. One of her favorite things was working puzzles. Jamie's last wish was to be an organ donor. Because of her rare blood type, she has saved peoples lives that normally would not have had this opportunity. Jamie's life will live on because of her loving heart and generosity.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband Scott Adamson, of Cincinnati, OH; her maternal grandparents Eulas and Betty Hayes of Ashland; brothers James David Hardy of Hillsboro, OH, Michael Allen Christian of Lexington, KY, Matthew David Christian of Effingham, IL, and Mark Tyler Christian of Ashland, KY as well as several nieces and nephews. Jamie was the happiest when she was with her nieces, nephews and cousins. She truly loved her family.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel at 1:00 PM and will be officiated by Pastor Stan Williams. Burial will follow in
Edison Cemetery in Carter Co., Kentucky. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM. Due to the ongoing Covin-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing will be required.
