Janet Louise Stewart

Janet Louise McClelland Stewart, 80, of Ashland, formerly of Catlettsburg, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Woodland Oaks in Ashland. Janet was born Feb. 10, 1938 in Ashland, a daughter of the late Thomas ’Tom” and Louise Ray McClelland.
Janet was a lifelong resident of Boyd County and a loving homemaker to her family. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Russell. She enjoyed being with her family and church family. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her sons Joe Stewart and wife Lynn of Oxford, AL, Jeff Stewart and wife Elista of Wheelersburg, OH, Jerry Stewart and wife Penny of Summit, KY, Justin Stewart and wife Monika of Elmwood, TN, daughters Lolene Dixon of Ocala, FL, Jennifer Ebling and husband Mike of Ocklawaha, FL, 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel by Bishop Benjamin Hurt. Burial will be in the Bayless Cemetery on Catletts Creek.
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday Evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
