John Clifford Gehringer

John Clifford Gehringer, Jr., 69, of Ashland, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in the Community Hospice Care Center.
He was born August 1, 1949, a son of the late John Clifford Gehringer, Sr. and Betty Hutchinson Gehringer.
John was of the Christian faith. He retired after 40 years of service from H.T. Hackney and Ohio Valley Wholesale.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Unrue Gehringer of Ashland; sons, John Scott Gehringer (Shannon) of Ashland, and Bradford Jay Gehringer (Shelly) of Greenup; daughter, Lisa Kay Stewart (Dan), of Ashland; two brothers, Phil Gehringer (Missy) and Matt Gehringer of Ashland; sister, Julie Dixon of Ashland; grandchildren, Danny Stewart, Jr. (Elizabeth), John Bradley Gehringer, Cliff Stewart (Shelby), Brett Lee Gehringer (Brooke), Aaron Gehringer, Holly Gehringer and Nate Stewart (Kerri); 4 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Dixon Cemetery with Pastor Joed Rice and Pastor Brandon Depriest officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Steen Funeral Homes.
