Joseph Matthew Hicks

On Saturday, August 6, 2022, Joseph Matthew Hicks, or Matt as he was known to most, passed away at his home in Greenup, Kentucky at the age of 62.

He was born on May 20, 1960, in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of the late Joseph Curtis and Emma Lee Greene Hicks.

Matt was an avid golfer who also enjoyed gardening and cooking. He was employed as Chief Operating Officer of Super Quick Inc.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Sharyn Harris Hicks; two daughters, Nikki Miles and Rachel Hicks; three stepdaughters, Danielle Messer, Leatha Messer and Robin Price; sister, Kristen Jones; two brothers, Michael Hicks and Mark Hicks; 18 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

In keeping with Matt’s wishes, he will be cremated and services will not be held.
