Juanita Scott

Juanita (Wireman) Scott beloved sister, mother, and grandmother passed away at Central Baptist Hospital January 21, 2019.
Mrs. Scott was born September 11, 1927 to the late Mrs. Leona Wireman London and Mr. William Wireman in Greenup, Ky. Preceding Mrs. Scott in death are four siblings Jeanie London, Sanford Wireman, Myrtle (Wireman) Waller, David Wireman. Also preceding Mrs. Scott are her husband Orison Morrell Scott Jr. and three sons Samuel Tackett, Clyde (Bub) Scott, and Orison Morrell (O.M.) Scott III. While Juanita was a wonderful homemaker and mother, she also was restaurant manager, caregiver for the elderly, a member of Cannonsburg Trinity Methodist Church, and a member of the Greenhill O.E.S #567 chapter of the Eastern Star.
She has left behind a brother and sister in-law Edward Wireman (Maxine) of Ashland; two children and their spouses Pam Crowell (David), Tawnee Russell (Bob) all of Versailles; two daughter-in-laws Judy Scott, and Teresa Merritt; twelve grandchildren T Jay Tackett, Bart Tackett, Megan Woods (Scott), Erin Free (Chris), Kristan Campbell, Ashley Scott, Courtney Martin (TJ), Madison Scott, Cameron Scott, Lori Meadows (Mike), David Russell (Mary), and Rachael Crowell; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Juanita adored her family and was a doting mother and grandmother, and sorely missed her constant companion and pet, Abby, who preceded her in death. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Scott will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Steen Funeral Home 3409 13th Street, Ashland, KY 41102. The visitation will begin at 11 A.M. with the service to follow at 1 P.M.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Salvation Army, or Cannonsburg Trinity Methodist Church.
