Karen Sue McWhorter VanHorn

Karen Sue VanHorn, 69, of Louisa, passed away Thursday morning, June 14, 2018 at her residence.
She was born June 15, 1948, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Francis Gauze McWhorter.
Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Richard VanHorn of Louisa; son, Scott VanHorn of Ashland; brother, Darin McWhorter and wife, Shanetta of Canton, GA; sisters, Linda Darling and husband, Chauncey of Ashland and Mary Dawnette Felty of Ashland; and a grandson, Bradley Scott VanHorn; and her beloved Chihuahua, Julie.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018, at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with words of comfort by Mike Reed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel.
