Kathy Barnett

Kathy Ann Barnett, 65, of Ashland, was born on March 10, 1956 and returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Her parents, Herbert and Maxine Stewart White as well as a brother, Curtis White, preceded her in death.

Kathy was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church. She spent her life in dedication to her family. Her favorite memories were of the many family get togethers for holidays and events. Kathy was a great wife, mother, sister, and grandmother to her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 43 years, Danny Barnett of Ashland; sons, Danny Barnett, II, of West Palm Beach, FL, and Aaron (Misty) Barnett of Ashland; daughter, Nina Crum of Ashland; brothers, Timothy White, Wendell White and Jeff White; sister, Linda Jarvis; grandchildren, Shelbi, Andrew, Ema, Troy, and Tristan Barnett; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel with words of comfort provided by Jake Day. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Following the burial on Tuesday, there will be a Celebration of Kathy’s life at Wildwood Baptist Church, 3414 Charles Street, Ashland, KY, 41102.
