Labe Hager (“Buddy”) Arrington, Jr., 75, of Ashland, Ky. went home to be with the Lord and his loving parents on Friday, September 27, 2019.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years Mrs. Rebecca Arrington, who never left his side. Hager and Becky shared a love most dream of and were incredibly faithful to one another. Together they had one child, Mrs. Tina Arrington Jones (Jeff) of Versailles, Ky. Hager was a wonderful father and husband whom many would describe as the kindest and gentlest soul one could meet. Hager is also survived by his two brothers Jack Chenoweth and Gary Arrington and his sister Sheila Porter.
Hager had a lifelong love for all things island and tropical including the music of one of his favorites, Jimmy Buffet. Hager loved animals including his most recent guardian angel, Jewell. Hager enjoyed riding motorcycles and shared that passion with his wife, daughter, and brother Gary. Hager was a member of Old Orchard Christian Church of Ashland. Hager was loved by many friends and family and he will be remembered for his thoughtful and caring nature.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staffs of KDMC and Community Hospice of Ashland for their incredible care and support. They would also like to thank each amazing visitor who Hager was blessed with and came to share memories with Hager over the past few months.
A celebration of Hager’s life well be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the Old Orchard Christian Church with words of comfort provided by Pastor Gary Arrington and Pastor Joey Kennedy.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the church.
