Larry Gene Griffith

Larry Gene Griffith, 81, of Ashland, KY passed away on November 21, 2019 at the Hospice Care Center. Larry was born in Ashland, KY on June 22, 1938, a son of the late Leo and Lola Adkins Griffith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Carole Dianne Henry Griffith and a brother Carl Griffith.
Larry retired after many years of service from Ashland Oil/Marathon's Catlettsburg Refinery as a Refinery Operator. He served his country honorably with the United States Army.
Larry is survived by nieces Carla Bryan and husband Mitchell and Nancy Griffith all of Lexington, KY, and his Marathon retiree buddies who were like family to him.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel by Frank Tate. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
