Larry C. Kiser, 82, of Ashland, Ky., died peacefully surrounded by his family and in the arms of his devoted son, who never left his side, on Tuesday morning, January 11, 2022, in King’s Daughters Medical Center.
He was born December 20, 1939, in Jenkins, Ky., to the late John and June Nowlin Kiser. In addition to his parents, Larry was reunited in Heaven with his loving wife, Donna Davidson Kiser; daughter, Kelli Ann Kiser Goldie; grandson, GT Goldie; son-in-law, Dean Goldie; brothers, Jerry W. Kiser, Dr. J. Richard Kiser, and Dr. Roger Kiser.
Larry served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps and the NSA.
Larry worked for Allied Steel as a Safety and Structural Engineer. Afterwards he worked for the NSA and later for the Nevada State Gaming Commission. A man of dignity honor and strength, his loss will forever be felt by his family.
Those left to treasure his memory include a son, Larry Scott Kiser; two daughters, Trina Kiser Litteral and Amanda Kiser Grigsby; brothers, Mark Kiser and Keith Kiser; grandchildren, Troy Goldie, Tiffany Goldie, Trevor Litteral, and Trent Litteral; great grandchildren, Jacob, Sophia, Charley, Avie, Trai, and Tyson; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He will be entombed with his wife at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Wise, Virginia with full military honors.
