Lisa Joann Staten

Lisa Joann Stith Staten, 53, of Ashland passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Lisa was born October 18, 1964 in Oberlin, Ohio, a daughter of the late Anna Bolt. In addition to her mother she was also preceded in death by her brother Chris Vance.
Lisa attended Boyd County Schools and was previously employed with Go Green Cleaners in Ashland. She always greeted everyone with a beautiful smile and a warm welcome. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband Mark Staten of Ashland, her son Corey Williams of Ashland, her daughter Megan Kouns of Flatwoods, sisters Rhonda (Jim) Hodge of South Carolina, Tracy Vance (Bobby) Woods of Florida, her adoring granddaughter Kenley Kouns and a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held 7:00pm Saturday evening, August 11, 2018 at the Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel by Perry Young.
Visitation will be from 6-7 prior to the memorial service.
