Lloyd Edward Busch

Lloyd Edward Busch, 83, of Ashland, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

He was born January 7, 1935, in Ashland, a son of the late Alva Edmond and Stella Dalton Bush.

He was a founding church member and deacon at Thirteenth Street Baptist Church. He retired from the engineering department at Ashland Oil, Inc., where he was the vice president of engineering and technical services and served honorably in the United States Army National Guard.

Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Carolee Luther Busch of Ashland; two sons, Brian Alan Busch (Babby) of Spring, TX, and Brent Luther Busch (Lisa) of Ashland; brother Robert E. "Bob" Bush of Ashland; five grandchildren, Brittney Busch, Branden Busch, Sarah Busch, Daniel Busch and Scott Busch; and a host of loving extended family members and dear friends.

Funeral services will be at Noon Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel with Pastor Jim Byrd officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until Noon at the funeral home.
