Lora Mae Ferguson

Lora Mae Ferguson, 90, of Ashland, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Boyd Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Lora was born October 23, 1929 in Boyd County, a daughter of the late Jonce and Goldie Scaggs Cole. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Ferguson and a son Larry Ferguson.
Lora was a lifelong resident of Boyd County. She was of the Freewill Baptist Faith and a loving homemaker to her family. She will be deeply missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son Allen Ferguson and wife Becky of Rush, a daughter-in-law Kathy Ferguson of Catlettsburg, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Steen Funeral Home 13th St. Chapel. Burial will follow in the Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
Visitation will be prior to services from 12:00 Noon till service time at 1:00
