Margaret Stewart

Margaret L. Stewart, 96, of Ashland, Ky., passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 in Kingsbrook Lifecare Center.

She was born August 14, 1925 in Ashland, Ky., to the late Clarence and Minnie Gesling Clevenger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Stewart, Sr.; sister, Sue Clevenger Finney; and a brother Charles Marion Clevenger.

Margaret was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and retired from Big Sandy Furniture.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, John C. (Pat) Stewart, Jr. of Ashland and Donald Ray Stewart of Ashland; grandchildren, Heather Wolfe, Katie (Geoff) Griffith; and John C. (Kelly) Stewart, III; great grandchildren, Masson Wolfe, Addison Wolfe, Landon Griffith, Tyson Griffith, Roman Griffith, Noland Stewart and Avery Stewart.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2022 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Pastor Mark A. Kloha officiating. Entombment will follow in Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday at the church.
