Mary Virginia (Myers) Daniel

Mary Virginia Myers Daniel, age 76, of Ashland, KY, passed Friday, September 24,2021 in King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, KY after a brief illness. Born November 04,1944 in Arlington, Virginia to Samuel Henry Myers and Iola Virginia Barbee Myers. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Surviving are her husband, Dan Daniel of Ashland, KY. Two sons Douglas Daymude of Ashland, KY, & Daniel Daymude of Ashburn, Virginia. Two grandchildren, Daniel Lee Daymude Jr, and Scott Smith. Three step grandchildren, Josh O’Neal, Shelisa Holbrook, Ashley Blanton. Two sisters, Donna Strahley of Front Royal, Virginia, Sherry Wilson of Bracey, Virginia. Two half brothers, Jimmy Pifer of Bracey, Virginia, Ronnie Pilfer of Lawrenceville, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Henry Myers and Iola Virginia Barbee Myers, sister, Sandra Myers and two brothers, Billy Myers and Sam Myers.

Funeral services will be 11:30am, Tuesday, September 28,2021 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Elder Austin Knipp officiating. Interment in Daniel Cemetery, Dingus, KY. Visitation after 5:00pm, Monday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers are friends and relatives. Visitation will be 5:pm to 8:pm, Sunday, September 26,2021 at the Steen Funeral Home, 13th. Street, Ashland, KY. Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY in care of arrangements of Mary Virginia Myers Daniel.
